The Growth Cycle

The Hair Cycle
To understand hair loss, you must first understand the hair cycle that each hair goes through. Each strand of hair on the human body, from your scalp to your legs, is at its own stage of development. From the moment a hair starts to grow until it falls out, it passes through three stages. And once the cycle for each hair is complete, it restarts again and a new hair is formed. For some people this cycle takes three years, for others, it takes six years. This again depends on your genes.
Step 1: The Anagen
This is your hair’s growth phase and the longer it stays in this phase, the longer it grows. About 85 – 95 percent of the hair on your head is at this stage in the cycle at any given time.

Support Healthy Hair Growth
In fact, six weeks after having a high fever or starting a restrictive diet, you may experience telogen effluvium or sudden diffuse hair fall. Your anagen phase has been cut short and more hairs are in the shedding phase at the same time. This is how important health and diet are to a thick head of hair.
You can support healthy hair growth by eating a healthy diet, using high-quality products, and considering treatments like MesoLED and our Plateletherapy that will infuse your scalp and follicles with nutrients and growth factors.
